Lebron James and Kevin Garnett have been battling since Lebron was in Cleveland and Garnett was in Boston. Nothing has changed now that they have switched towns.

The Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat waged a season opening showdown at the Barclay’s Center last night and you can hear from all the particulars from this game right hear. You will not hear anything like this anywhere else.

Talk about a great competition between two excellent teams, this was a pleasure to watch. Paul Pierce is “Really The Truth” and seeing the Nets against the Heat reminded me of the golden days when Detroit went at Chicago. I’m talking about the Isiah Thomas Pistons fighting the Michael Jordan Bulls. However, I must remind myself that every Team in the NBA is going at the Heat with their Best Game and this was Brooklyn’s Home Opener. That combination of motivation gave We Fans an extraordinary NBA game to watch. I wish I could have been in Brooklyn in that crowd with all of that Fanatical Energy. I salute both the Nets and the Heat for giving Us a early season game for the ages. I want to see Greg Oden in the next mix so that a Big Guy Game will take place coming from the Heat. Man, I’m anxious to see those games!

I salute Samori Benjamin for a great job reporting the game and then having the key participants speak with him about what they thought happened last night. The after the game interviews don’t get any better. Samori, keep up the excellent work and I’m going to follow You this entire NBA Season. You’re doing it and doing it Very Good!!
