Chicago Major Leaguers Give Love To Their Little League World Series Hometown Heroes

Anyone who has paid attention has heard constant noise of the troubles plaquing some of the youth in Chicago’s black community.  This summer a Little League team out of Chicago has become the first all black team to make the Little League World Series series in over 30 years.  They have inspired a city and brought people together back home. Among their biggest fans are the hometown Chicago Cubs.  Listen as we speak the Cubs and their manager Rick Renteria along with New York Mets star outfielder Curtis Granderson who was born and raised in Chicago and has ties to this Little League team.  You can listen to it all right play clicking the play button up top.
