With 7’2 Russian center Timofey Mosgov getting traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday we take a look back to Mosgov’s first season in the NBA when he was a member of the New York Knicks and dropped 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a late January game versus the Detroit Pistons. This was a game that also featured the return of Tracy McGrady to Madison Garden who was traded to the Knicks at the trading deadline the previous season in 2010, the trade helped the Knicks dump further salary cap for the big summer Lebron James sweepstakes later that summer. McGrady only played 20 something games for the Knicks but his first game as a Knick was memorable as he faced off against Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder.
