It has been nearly three years since the Carmelo Anthony forced his way to New York and Madison Square Garden in a blockbuster trade from the Denver Nuggets. On Friday night the two teams played each other with the Denver Nuggets in better shape than Carmelo’s Knicks. We speak with Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post who covered Carmelo’s Denver career and we also speak with Denver point guard Ty Lawson who is the ONLY player left on the Denver roster from when Carmelo was on the team and we examine the state of the Denver Nuggets three years later.
